Leonard, Lola, Richard, Sylvester, Africa and Noel.

I have good news for everyone!  I am officially a father!  Yesterday, I adopted six new cacti.  Leonard, Lola, Richard, Sylvester, Africa and Noel.  The picture is of a cactus of the same type as Leonard.  He's my favorite (don't tell the others.).  Also, I'm expecting.  I planted a couple cactus seeds just to see if I can raise some.  I'm really nervous about those though.  Wish me luck!

This week spells boredom for me.  Not only do I have four hour shifts at the Coffee Bucks, but all of my friends are super busy/not willing to spend time with me.  It's weeks like these that make me want to move far, far away so I'll have an excuse for having few friends.  Also, start over with new friends.  Keep the old ones, of course, so they'll miss me a super, whole lot and be dying to see me when I visit.  But also make new ones.  New exciting ones.

Also, shout out to Sarah:  my audience/sole reader.  Hi!

you totally named that cactus after me, right? I have been trying to get people here to call me Africa for ages (chanelling lindsay lohan in mean girls) but it never catches on

That's crazy!! Two! Heck yes!

I think Africa is a great name. I named him Africa because that's where this cactus predominately grows. But when I typed it on my blog I definitely thought about you!
