Rain Puddles, Jewelry and Hatred

So, no trip to another country today, but I did go about an hour south of here to Warner Robins and enjoyed an evening with my best friend.  My BFF.  We did some Meaty Okra filming in a park.  Because of the rainy weather we got some kick-ass footage of Melissa (the "me" in "meaty okra") falling into a puddle.  Then we went back to her place and ate a lot of popcorn and oreos.  Not an adventure, but one helluva day no less.  I'm so glad we chilled today or else I may have done something hasty.  Haha!

I did some deep cleaning of my room today and found an awesome necklace that my sister made for me two years ago.  She was five, I think.  It may be my favorite piece of jewelry.  (and believe me, I have a lot.)  

I'm really angry right now, folks.  Why?  Well, because California did not repeal Proposition 8.  Proposition 8 added to the California state constitution limits "marriage" to opposite-sex couples only defining "marriage" as between an man and a woman.  After hearing many cases against Prop 8 in March, the California Supreme Court upheld the hateful proposition today.  I do have hope though.  Hope for a day when gays will too have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Happy, restless, antsy, lovely, anticipatory, magical, impatient, unsatisfied, ecstatic, excited.

I've never wanted to do more than I want to do right now.  What a weird mood.  A part of me is ready to hop in my car with a small bag and drive up Interstate 75 and drive, drive, drive.  Destination:  Whatever state I run out of gas in.  

Immature?  Yes.  Scary?  Yes.  Exciting?  Yes!  Adventure, anyone? I wish.

Damn commitments.  :D

#20 - Sodomy

Why hello there, post number 20.  Looks like you and I are about to have some fun.

I can't seem to make cohesive sentences today.  My brain is too scattered to stay on one topic for very long.  I just backspaced like a lot of words.  They really weren't worthy of my blog.  

Instead of boring you by droning on about my tedious daily activities, I'll leave you with this.  It's probably better this way since I can't really think about one thing for more than two seconds right now.

Crazy, crazy.

I will be registering for classes at a local college next Friday.  This is probably more exciting than anything has ever been exciting to me.  Good grief, do I miss learning things.  

Oh my goodness.  I'm watching a reunion of The Real Housewives of New York.  They are crazy bitches.  Yelling at each other, calling each other names...  Wow.  It's intense.  The ugly one is sitting like she has no idea what's going on.  Haha.

OH!  American Idol is a crock of crap.  Adam Lambert is my American Idol.  Not Kris fucking Allen.

Lately, I've been feeling really optimistic about life.  I feel like everything that I feel is wrong, or more so, could be better in my life is either happening or just a few moments away.  Patience is a virtue, as they say.  Here I come. 

Alright, that's enough ramblings for a Wednesday night.  

Leonard, Lola, Richard, Sylvester, Africa and Noel.

I have good news for everyone!  I am officially a father!  Yesterday, I adopted six new cacti.  Leonard, Lola, Richard, Sylvester, Africa and Noel.  The picture is of a cactus of the same type as Leonard.  He's my favorite (don't tell the others.).  Also, I'm expecting.  I planted a couple cactus seeds just to see if I can raise some.  I'm really nervous about those though.  Wish me luck!

This week spells boredom for me.  Not only do I have four hour shifts at the Coffee Bucks, but all of my friends are super busy/not willing to spend time with me.  It's weeks like these that make me want to move far, far away so I'll have an excuse for having few friends.  Also, start over with new friends.  Keep the old ones, of course, so they'll miss me a super, whole lot and be dying to see me when I visit.  But also make new ones.  New exciting ones.

I'M BAAACKKKK!  So this week has been incredibly eventful.  Monday, I flew up to New York with a good friend of mine, Quent.  We had a meeting for "Exceptional Bicyclists" which went really well.  Quent actually won an award for being able to ride his bicycle while eating at the same time.  Those bicyclists...

Tuesday, Quent stayed in New York to visit family while I explored the streets meeting some very famous people, so I'm basically really in the know now.  It's definitely only a matter of time before I'm making movies with these people I met.  We'll see how these things pan out.  (excitement!)

While I was hanging out with one of these said famous friends, they invited me to a charity dinner out in Boston for Thursday (today) and we just got back from that.  We raised a lot of money for the children and that's what it's all about, right?  We're exhausted, but about to go to the "Voluptuous Volcano" for some dancing with a couple of producers from Australia.  If anyone happens to be in the area...  Leave.  

Tomorrow, I'm headed back home for a few days then going to a show in Berlin for the "We Promise We Care" almost-non-profit organization.  

Okay, so I made this entire post up.  Sue me.  I did it for my readers.  Trust me, it's much more entertaining than what's really going on in my life.  :D

I don't have a long, thought-out blog for tonight, but I saw this video and I had to share it with the world.  I've been following YouTube's MirandaSings08 for quite some time now and this is the best video to date.  :D  Love her.
